It is important to highlight his contributions to the present generation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Arvind C Ranade, Executive Director, INSA also adds his thoughts for a better understanding of the conference saying, \u201cThis conference aims to address a certain gap in knowledge, that is, all our lives we have highlighted only political figures as the torchbearers of India\u2019s freedom struggle. We have missed out on the important contributions of the scientists and their innovations that gave India a global stage.
